DO NOT KILL YOURSELF BECAUSE OF A BAD MARRIAGE!
There is no GOD HATE DIVORCE scripture. The often quoted phrase is misapplied outside of its Bible CONTEXT. There is scripture against having another sexual or marriage relationship BEFORE issuing a bill of divorce to a spouse.
Even God DIVORCED “Israel” (a type of church bride) for adulterous practices. Jer. 3:7-8. He has been married to gentiles, through JESUS Christ, since then! JESUS will send to hell, his church bride, if she refused to allow Him remove her blemish, spots and wrinkles from her, according to Eph 5:27.
JESUS was clear about scriptural permissions for divorce IF there is HARDENED HEART or there are HARDENED HEARTS!
Apostle PAUL recognized the need to let go of a spouse who is UNWILLING to stick with and work out a marriage but CHOOSES TO QUIT!
There are clear-cut scriptural steps to take BEFORE breaking any CHRISTIAN relationship, including marriage! Divorce or separation should NOT be undertaken for flimsy or self-sin excuses.
There are other related relationship points below:
Woman was created with superior qualities than man. It is wrong when a woman is seeking to be EQUAL to what God made her SUPERIOR to. No two human beings are equal. There can be equal opportunities and equality before law. The are no two equal human beings.
A man is configured differently from a woman. And, vice versa. Man and woman are permanently DIFFERENT. Forcing a gender into another gender role is a recipe for marital disasters.
There is no MAN THAT CANNOT PROVIDE FOR FAMILY IS AN INFIDEL scripture.
The often quoted scripture is a misrepresentation of the scripture’s CONTEXT.
A man must strive to provide for his home to the best of his ability. BUT, family provision is not Biblically mandated to exclude the industrious nature of a woman/wife.
Most women behind important Bible Characters were the bread-providers/bread winners. There should be no problem in marriage IF for some reason the woman is the privileged BREADWINNER!
I shared these points from Bible understanding at least 5 years ago and was hated/crucified for it. I am not a divorce advocate. I have helped relationships and marriages worked to avoid divorces because almost every marriage can work with the right counsel, information, understanding, wisdom and readiness to make Godly CHOICES.
